Enhancing Form Through Light in Godeok Biz Valley

IPARK is a premium real estate brand developed by Hyundai Development Company (HDC) in South Korea. The name "IPARK" stands for "Intelligent, Innovation, and International PARK," and it represents a range of upscale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Located in Seoul’s emerging Godeok Biz Valley district, this large-scale building combines retail, commercial, and parking spaces across nine floors. Our partners at POINT LED had a ambitious task, and successfully handled the setup of the lighting systems across the building, bringing the project from concept to reality through precise implementation and integration.

Lighting at every level

Protopixel served as the central tool for all dynamic lighting across the building, both interiors and façade. The façade lighting enhances the building’s architectural presence at night, turning it into a recognizable landmark within the Godeok Biz Valley district. Inside, adaptive lighting scenes were designed for underground parking, retail floors, and shared spaces, creating tailored atmospheres for each environment. All of this was managed through a single, unified platform, seamlessly integrating DMX and smart lighting devices with our Brain Experience.

While the installation included physical lighting hardware, Protopixel’s main value was to provide a flexible and reliable platform for creative lighting control.

At night, the façade lighting improves the building’s visibility and supports its architectural presence within the city. Inside, scene-based programming allows the lighting to adjust to different times of day and usage patterns—ranging from functional retail lighting during the day to softer, ambient settings in the evening.
