For the 2019 Llum BCN Light Arts Festival the Barcelona-based creative studio Hamill Industries designed a light and sound installation in the shape of a two meters rotating sphere with luminescent laser core using ProtoPixel technology.
The piece refers to an impression of a shimmer and a shape of a shell of marine snails. Its rotation and folding/ unfolding moves create a phantasmagoric sea dance of light, shades and reflections. Simply amazing.
