Dynamic Lighting for a Multimedia Performance

Chagall is an Amsterdam-born, London-based electronic music producer, songwriter, singer, and performer who uses the MI.MU gloves to physically control the most detailed of electronic sounds while maintaining direct interaction with the audience.

For her latest show, the multimedia performance UNLOCKED, she has used our software Create to design the lighting part of the fully reactive light-art installation B.A.B.Y. (Bionic Assistant for Becoming Yourself). She controls all lighting effects in realtime through the sensors in her gloves and costume, resulting in an amazing, organic and intimate interplay of the human body, voice, light and music. ⁠

We are thrilled to see Chagall making full use of Create and its neat and intuitive interface to experiment with her ideas. She can visualize them in an instant, integrate any type of media blazingly fast, get a sense of her hardware needs, and deploy her work in the blink of an eye.
