Colorful Experiences for a Pavilion's Façade

Colorful Experiences for a Pavilion's Façade

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 2022

Our client contacted us to develop the lighting control system of Venezuela's Pavilion façade for , the biggest event for innovation, technology, culture, architecture, and art in the world that was postponed to 2021.Built as a tribute to the late Venezuelan artist –a major protagonist in the field of Kinetic and Optical Art and one of the key 20th-century thinkers in the realm of color– and designed by architect Wanders Werner Falasi, the pavilion's façade is dressed with lots of slats that create a waveform and that can be controlled dynamically using our all-in-one lighting platform. From the content point of view, the mapping of the fixtures is designed transversal across all 4 façade sides so that one can create linear effects such as the waveform.
The lighting control project consists of a global space that enables seamless control of all elements at the same time thanks to ProtoPixel Brain Experience, the brain of the project, and Spaces, the lighting management app. Useful for switching on and off the installation and applying moods or lighting effects to the complete installation.Inside the Global space, all moods or lighting effects designed with our software Mapping Tool apply in unison to all lighting elements existing in the installation.
